Below you will find information that may be important to know.

Check in

Takes place by agreement. And if you have difficulty finding the cottage, it is better to contact me Fia on +46708998827 than to ask the neighbors in the area.

Speed limit in the area is 20

Parking

Please park in the driveway to the right of the cottage. Preferably a little further to the right so that the car does not obscure the flowerbed.

House rules

For longer stays, water the plants around the house if needed.
Please contact host in case of problems or if something breaks.
Unfortunately, only the tiled stove in the living room is allowed to fire in.
You can throw household waste in the large green container at the entrance to Stålboga, about 1km.
AVOID TAKING IN THE ANTS, Clean often and remove food for the ants. Seal food / pantry items in tight packaging. Make sure you do not have leftover food lying on the floor or sink. Empty bins often. Wet dry the floors regularly with a splash of vinegar and you will get rid of the ants' scent traces.
Please close the windows in case of rain.

Tiled stove

Unfortunately, only the tiled stove in the living room is allowed to fire in and own firewood should be used.

Bathing area

You reach the bath by taking the road to the left of the cottage. Follow the arrow down the path to the bath. Please be considerate and do not cross our lot down to the bath. Show consideration when you are in the bathing area. The bathing jetty is primarily for bathers, and please follow the bathing rules found at the bathing area. If you are alone, it is no problem to lie there and sunbathe, but if you are accompanied by others, you should move to the lawn. It is not allowed to fish from the bathing jetty, but you can fish from the boat jetty.

Rowing Boat to borrow

We have a little rowing boat that you can borrow. You can find it on the boat dock according to the map above ”Boat mooring" and we have number 12.

TV / Chromecast

We do not use antenna for the TV in the cottage but instead we use google Chromcast. Through it, you can watch your favorite channels and various streaming services that you have a subscription to.

When starting the TV, it may take a few minutes before the image is displayed.
Open a Chromecast compatible app.

Press the Cast button Inactive cast extension . Note! The Cast button is not in the same place in all Chromecast-compatible apps.

Tap the unit you want to cast to.

The Cast button changes color when the connection is complete.

Now you can cast videos, movies and TV shows directly to the TV.

When you want to stop casting, press the Cast button followed by Disconnect.

Charcoal grill

Do not forget to bring your coals, there is nothing better than grilling on a hot summer evening.

Important

Put the lid on the grill to suffocate the fire
Wait until the ash is completely cool
You can now leave the ash until the next time or
Put the ashes in a metal container
Place the ash in some form of fire-resistant metal container such as a metal bucket or tin can. Make sure that the container has a tightly closed lid, as otherwise there is a risk that the wind will start to ignite the embers on carbon pieces that have not yet cooled down.
NOTE: Never use a plastic bag or cardboard box to store the ash as this poses a fire hazard.
Place the metal container in a safe place
Place the metal container outdoors, far away from things that can be flammable such as e.g. fences, wooden decks etc.
Throw away the ashes after several days have passed
Wait several days before disposing of the ashes. You can then throw it in a tightly closed bag in the residual waste.

the refrigerator must be emptied, wash the dishes and take with you the household rubbish.
Please put used things back in their proper place.
Close all windows and the door and return the key to the key cabinet.
